Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using Da Nang Surf Cam ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Da Nang Surf Cam provides a live surf camera feed and related content from My Khe Beach, Da Nang, Vietnam. The Service is operated by volunteers as a community project.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
- Use footage from the camera for commercial purposes without prior written permission
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Da Nang Surf Cam and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Camera footage: While the camera captures public beach scenes, the stream itself and any recordings we create are our intellectual property. You may share links to the live stream, but redistribution of recordings requires permission.
User submissions: If you submit photos or content to us, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and share that content in connection with the Service, with appropriate credit as provided.
Disclaimer
SURF CONDITIONS: The camera feed shows real-time conditions but should not be your only source for surf safety decisions. Ocean conditions can change rapidly. Always assess conditions in person before entering the water.
ACCURACY: We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the camera feed or any information displayed on the site. Camera angles, lighting, and weather may affect visibility.
AVAILABILITY: The Service is provided "as is" without any guarantees of uptime or availability. The camera may go offline for maintenance, weather, or technical issues without notice.
Limitation of Liability
Da Nang Surf Cam and its volunteers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages arising from surf conditions, equipment recommendations, or decisions made based on information from the Service.
Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (including YouTube, weather services, and local businesses). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. We encourage you to review their terms before using those services.
User Submissions
When submitting content (photos, videos, stories) to Da Nang Surf Cam:
- You confirm you own the rights to the content or have permission to share it
- You grant us permission to feature the content on our site and social media
- You understand we may edit or decline submissions at our discretion
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to the Service or other users.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
